Close to Ninety Flights Associated to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airfields
An investigation has uncovered that approximately 90 flights connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some allegedly transporting British women who claim they were exploited by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Reveal Trail of Movement
The flight logs were part of a trove of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been made public over the past year. The analysis identified 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein â encompassing many that were not previously known â landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unidentified âfemalesâ were listed among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these British airport journeys happened subsequent to Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a child.
âIt was âappallingâ that there had never been a âcomprehensive British inquiryâ into his operations in the country,â remarked US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epsteinâs accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that victim has not received any contact by UK authorities, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the the Met said they had ânot been provided with any further evidence that would support reopening the investigation.â They added, âShould fresh and pertinent evidence be brought to our attention, including any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.â
Continuing Document Release and Legal Rulings
A bill to disclose every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of papers are projected to be made public.
Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs long-term associate, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the allegations.
